I have purchased a copy of your CAM Wizard software and have set it up and is running fine apart from the HTTP unique URL. I have adjusted my firewall settings to accept camwizard but still have nothing. The primary reason for me buying the software was to be able to remotely view the cam site. Please help.

There are many reasons why it's difficult to run a server on a PC, it all comes down to security, nowadays computers are made secure through:

• Software firewalls on the PC
• Firewalls within router/modem
• ISP Blocking Ports
• Corporate gateways/firewalls blocking connections

Running a server on your PC involves you having to open up a port on your computer to the outside world, this makes your computer vulnerable to attacks from outside.

But don't despair, CAM Wizard has another way to remote view your webcam, I recommend that you use FTP upload option. FTP upload has the added benefit of uploading WMV movies so you can see any action captured whilst you've been away from home. Just follow the online procedure to setup for remote viewing via FTP.
