What is DeskCharts?
DeskCharts
is an easy to use, charting application
for Windows™ operating
systems. The aplication has been designed as a handy tool for private investors,
trading in time scales of weeks, months or years.
Unlike viewing your stock charts
in a web page, the charts update
very quickly and the user interface
responds in a very snappy manner,
this will make your daily 'stock
check' a joy!
Technical
Analysis
Each chart in 'Desk Charts'
can have its own Technical
Analysis setup. The easy to
use screen shown on the right
enables you to quickly configure
the setup for each chart.
Notice
the 'Propogate' button,
this allows you to configure
all the charts to have the
same setup. |

Interactive
Charts
Each chart shown
in the main application
window is fully interactive.
If
you left click on the chart;
a query box is displayed
with that points date,
open, high, low and close
prices in it. A query box
can be seen in the screenshot
on the right.
If you left
click and drag; a grey
selection column is superimposed
onto the chart, releasing
the mouse causes the grey
area to be zoomed into as
shown below.
Once zoomed in,
you can easily navigate
forward and backward in time
by using the bottom scrollbar
or your mouse wheel. Double
clicking will zoom out. |

As hown on the right,
by simply right clicking
on a chart you access a
menu for that particular
chart.
This menu allows
you to manipulate the chart
in many ways. Notice the
'Web News...' item. Clicking
this will take you right
to the latest online news
for the chart in question, very handy!

you instant access to different
chart types:
